2 Enable PPTP Server.

3 Select the VPN authentication type. If you are unsure which one to use, leave it on the default selection.

4 You can leave the Client IP Address on Auto. If client computers are within a specific IP address range, click Manual

and enter the range into the field.

5 You can leave the client IP address on “Auto”. If client computers are within a specific IP address range, click Manual

6 If you have a WINS server on the network, you can enter its IP address into the field.

7 Leave the MTU value on its default setting.

Editing Users

You can create and edit users that will access your PPTP server.

1 Click Edit PPTP User List to open the Edit Users page.

2 Enter a username and password for a new user.

3 Select a “Method of Acquiring IP Address”.

4 Click Add.
